Stretch: This is my newest favorite snap of my number 2 son. Seeing the broad smile with his hands out-stretched helped remind me that if you want happiness in life, you have to stretch -- whether it is with a career, a hobby, or even being a parent.

Having worked in a cubicle farm for more years than I care to admit, I have become increasingly annoyed at the inspirational poster that have become ubiquitous in this environment. You know the ones... An eagle flying by a mountain peak with a pithy saying such as "Dare to Soar". (Click here for an example.) I have come to believe that these posters rarely inspire, and often they become the target of derision.

I decided to take this worn out format, and try to capture things that truly inspire me. This webpage lists some examples.
